From our man in unbiased journalistic mode...As the dispassionate observer, we give em a good digging. Half centuries from Phil J and Andy gave us a competitive target of 189 for Clun to go for. Bowling was mostly bloody good (with a bit of the usual shite) - we managed to get Jim fairly cheaply (20 something) caught at slip by, yes, Andy Lee despite Lloyd's best efforts to intervene. Bruce pulled off a blinding C & B. POC and the ubiquitous Andy the pick of em, but Danny and Keith done great too. Bowled em out for 150 something - never much danger for the last 8 overs, cos they had lost wickets every 2 or 3 overs after the one dangerous stand was broken. Half time saw the dedicated hard work of Anzaniman richly rewarded with the Beard memorial trophy. There were nearly tears and lumps were raised in many a throat.
