2009: 25 not out

So 2009 gave us all the opportunity to explore levels of psychological devastation for which the word defeat is wretchedly inadequate, but the perceptive student of the Collective's cricketing journey might detect some green shoots of recovery breaking through as we brought up the quarter-century in the August sunshine.  Full details, good and bad, can be found here.

 

The more historically-minded reader should hum the theme tune to The Good Old Days, and repair at once to the History page, where the collection of scoresheets and statistics has now reached 1996.  Nostalgia really ain't what it used to be.

 

 

 

    

Recent changes:

3 Jan 2010 Details of the 2009 and 2003-2006 seasons.
29 April 2009 Updated (and almost complete) fixture list and some minor improvements here and there.  The averages page should now work properly.
9 Dec 2008 Several old seasons now up,  complete 2007 and 2008 reports, new averages page, improved records page, and too many other changes to list them all.
27 Mar 2008 The unexpurgated story of the Ripon tour from Phil J, and some more improvements to the stats section.
